The Aero - ALUFLEX duct
can be used to fulfil all ventilation requirements. It is made of double-layer aluminium band, triple-layer where overlapping occurs. In this version it fulfils the DIN 24146 requirement and has only a low pressure loss. The technical values and the DIN-classification can be taken from the catalogue (table on page 3). The manufacturing process is carried out in such a way that materials do not accumulate in the duct and so it can be cut with common tools, for example with a knife.
 

Aero - FLEX ducts
made of galvanised steel band (ref. no. 7) or of stainless steel (material number 1.4436, ref. no. 8), on request, are manufactured like the Aero-ALUFLEX duct, except that they are manufactured single-layer in general and double-layer where overlapping occurs.
 

The Aero - ALUSTRETCH duct
is a double-layer Aero-ALUFLEX duct (upset on a length of 1250 mm). It can be pulled out to 5000 mm. The benefits of the upset duct are its great stability and the reduced space required during transportation and storage.
 

The Aero - ALUFLEX - insulated pipe-in-pipe system
consists of two Aero-ALUFLEX ducts with an insulation layer of fibre glass lying in between. This version offers an economic solution in many situations, because you don't need to add expensive insulation afterwards.
The insulated pipe-in-pipe system is manufactured in the nominal widths resp. in the dimensions according to ref. no. 10. Special dimensions and versions can be delivered on request at short notice. For coupling you can use normal coupling systems (e.g. male couplings with rolling rubber ring seals, shrink tape, etc.). It can be handled as easy as the Aero-ALUFLEX duct. The bend radius can (depending on the nominal width) be 2 or 2.5 times the external diameter of the duct.
 

Aero - ALUFLEX attenuators
are also made of the Aero-ALUFLEX-duct. The inner tube is perforated mechanically in the area of insulation. The nonflammable damp course has an abrasion-proof coating of fibre glass and can be delivered in 25, 50, 75 and 100mm. The sound insulation values, depending on the damp course, can be taken from the catalogue (page 8). End caps made of galvanized sheet steel make installation easy. The bend radius can (depending on the nominal width) be 2 or 2,5 times the external diameter of the duct. The Aero-ALUFLEX attenuators can also be installed in bent condition.
